Facilitative Mediation Training in November 2016

By August 19, 2016No Comments

PaCSIA will present a 5-day interactive course in Facilitative Mediation and Conflict Resolution in partnership with Silky Oaks. The course meets the training requirements of the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS) and provides participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to mediate disputes. Facilitative Mediation is the most popular approach to mediation and is practiced widely in Australia. The course is suitable for anyone wanting to embark on a career as a mediator or who wants to add mediation processes and skills to their professional services and processes. Lead trainers Dr Serge Loode and Ms Melanie Schroder have taught hundreds of students in academic and professional settings and are both practicing mediators and facilitators. On the last two days of the course participants will be coached by highly experienced mediators from a variety of backgrounds. The course content provides opportunities to practice mediation skills and processes through role play simulations from contexts such as workplace and business conflicts, neighbourhood and community conflicts as well as family conflicts.

Time: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Registration fee: $900.00
